NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Southern Connecticut Men's Basketball graduate student Antonio Chandler was named to the Northeast-10 Conference's Faces in the Crowd for Week 2 of the 2024-25 season.
In his first year with the Owls, Graduate Student Antonio Chandler has been a dominant force in the paint on both sides. This week against Saint Michael's, he posted 25 points and 13 rebounds, also adding a block and a steal. He shot an extremely efficient 11-13 for his second straight 20-point double-double after dropping 20 points and 12 rebounds against St. Thomas Aquinas the prior week. He leads the Owls in rebounds per game (11.0) and is second in points per game (18.0). In the NE10, he ranks second and eighth respectively in the two statistics.Â
The Owls return Wednesday, November 20th for their home opener, a NE10 Championship rematch against Southern New Hampshire, with tip-off at 7:30.Â
