SCSU Women's Swimming & Diving Wins Fourth Straight NE10 Championship

WORCESTER, Mass. – Southern Connecticut women's swimming & diving won the 2024 Northeast-10 Conference Championship with a score of 1061.5, finishing ahead of Bentley (756.5) and Assumption (483). The Owls won their fourth-straight NE10 Championship and 16^th of all-time dating back to 2003. The Owls captured 29 medals, including nine individual championships and broke the NE10 Record in the 400 Medley Relay as well as Hailey Nyquist's 100 Backstroke record. With the men's team also winning the 2024 championship, this marked the 13^th year since 2003 in which Southern Connecticut swept the NE10 Championships.

1650 Yard Freestyle
Gracie Marsh finished in third place to capture the Bronze medal with a time of 17:57.35 and Natalie Weier finished right behind her in fourth place with a time of 18:16.90.

200 Yard Backstroke
Brooke Keeney secured another Gold medal for the Owls in a first place finish with a time of 2:06.95. Ella Marzec finished in third place to secure the Bronze medal with a time of 2:09.73 Zoe McNeill came in fourth place in a time of 2:09.79 and Abigail Lyons finished with a time of 2.11.89 in sixth place.

100 Yard Freestyle
Molly Kennedy secured another Gold medal in the 100 Yard Freestyle with a time of 51.77. Hailey Nyquist captured the Silver medal with a time of 52.21. Arianna Arturi finished in fourth place with a time of 53.50.

200 Yard Breaststroke
Lindsay McCawley came in third place, to secure the Bronze medal in the 200 Yard Breaststroke with a time of 2:25.97. Emma St. Hilaire finished with a time of 2:27.19 in fourth place and Allyson Quitos came in fifth place with a time of 2:27.87.

200 Yard Butterfly
It was an Owls' podium sweep in the 200 Yard Butterfly as Jasmine Uricchio secured the Gold medal with a time of 2:06.32, Paola Castillo finished in second place, to capture the Silver medal in a time of 2:07.65 and Justice Glasgow earned the Bronze medal with a time of 2:09.37. Julia Pitchell came in seventh place with a time of 2:13.43.

400 Yard Freestyle Relay
The relay team of Molly Kennedy, Brooke Keeney, Hailey Nyquist and Arianna Arturi captured the Gold medal in the 400 Yard Freestyle Relay with a time of 3.31.07.
