MANSFIELD, Mass. - Southern Connecticut women's swimming and diving student-athlete Molly Kennedy has been named the Northeast-10 Swimmer of the Week for the Week 9 as announced by the NE10 on Tuesday, Jan. 2. She wins this for the second consecutive week and third of the season.

Kennedy helped the Owls to a win at Bentley with her 50 Free time becoming a pool and meet record, the meet record in the 200 Free, and contributed for her relay team to the meet record in the 400 Free. She also now holds the second, third, and fourth best times in the 50 Free this season, and the first and ninth best times in the 200 Free this season.  

The Owls are back in Hutchinson Natatorium on Saturday, Jan. 25 for a meet against Saint Michael's.
