Deslauriers, Driscoll, Rosado All Named to NE10 Academic All-Conference Team

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Southern Connecticut Women's Soccer standouts Nicky Deslauriers, Caileigh Driscoll, and Alexie Rosado were all named to the Northeast-10 Academic All-Conference Team for the 2024 season. It is the first selection for Driscoll and Deslauriers, and the second for Rosado. 

Nicky Deslauriers had an outstanding junior season for the Owls, recording career highs in all major categories. She appeared in 18 games, starting 15 times and recording four goals, three assists, and 11 points. Her shot on goal percentage of 70% ranked second among qualified players on the team. Her best performance came against Mercy, where she scored two goals in a 4-0 victory. In the classroom, she is a business administration major, and boasts a 3.92 GPA. She was previously named to the 2024 CSC Academic All-District team this season. 

Caileigh Driscoll also recorded career highs in every major statistical category in her senior year. she appeared in all 18 games, starting 16 times and recording four goals after only scoring once the past three years. She also recorded four assists, good for 12 points. She was tied with Deslauriers for third in goals on the team, and also ranked third in points. She scored twice in a 4-0 victory over Holy Family, and was also named to the 2024 CSC Academic All-District Team. Driscoll holds a 3.76 GPA as a Communication, Media, and Screen Studies major. 

Alexie Rosado finished off her incredible Owls career this year by recording career highs in shots, shots on goal, goals, assists, and minutes. She led the team in she recorded six goals, four assists, and 16 points, ranking second on the team in all three categories. She also ranked second in the NE10 in shots on goal. In the East Region, she ranked fifth in shots on goal per game and seventh in shot accuracy. She was named to the All-NE10 First Team for the second-straight year, and was also named to the NEWISA All-New England Second Team. In the classroom, she holds a 3.50 GPA as a graduate student in Exercise and Sport Science.
