Katie Williamson was named to the Northeast-10 Conference Faces in the Crowd for this week. This is Williamsons' first Faces in the Crowd recognition of the 2024-25 season.
Williamson recorded a team-best of 20 points, as she was 8-for-14 from the floor, and shot 4-for-4 from the free-throw line. In addition, she led the team with eight boards, five assists and two blocks in a 72-47 win against Pace. In a 70-55 win against Assumption, Williamson totaled 12 points, shooting 5-for-11 from the floor, 2-for-2 from the free-throw line, had a rebound, a steal and a assist against the Greyhounds.
Katie Williamson is ranked second in the NE10 in scoring with an average of 17.9 points per game and is ranked second in the NE10 in free-throw percentage with 87%.
Southern Connecticut women's basketball returns to action on Saturday, Jan. 11 at 1:30 p.m. in Springfield, Mass. in an NE10 matchup against American International. The Owls return home to the James Moore Field House on Tuesday, Jan. 14 at 5:30 p.m. against NE10 and Elm-City rival, University of New Haven.
