SCSU Women's Swimming and Diving Bests Pace University 163-120

Pleasantville, N.Y.-- Southern Connecticut Women's Swimming and Diving bested Pace University 163-120 on Friday Dec. 5 in a Northeast 10 conference match-up.

200 Yard Medley Relay:
A Southern Connecticut relay team of Abby Lyons, Ally Quitos, Julia Pitchell and Molly Kennedy won the event with a time of 1:54.15. Another Southern Connecticut team consisting of Zoe McNeill, Ellyn Baker, Paola Castillo and Emily Denise placed third with a time of 1:59.06.

1000 Yard Freestyle:
Sierra DuCharme placed second with a time of 11:09.95, following her in third was Claire Hanna at 11:13.81.

200 Yard Freestyle:
Kennedy won the event with a time of 1:58.69, following her in second was Castillo at 2:01.94.

100 Yard Backstroke:
Reina Loiacano placed second with a time of 1:04.26, following her in third was Sara Roney at 1:04.72. Emma St Hillaire placed fourth at 1:05.41.

100 Yard Breaststroke:
Quitos won the event with a time of 1:11.19, following her in second was Lyons at 1:12.17.

200 Yard Butterfly:
Jasmine Uricchio won the event with a time of 2:15.05, following her in second was Julia Pitchell at 2:17.23. St Hillaire placed third with a time of 2:21.30.

50 Yard Freestyle:
Denise placed third with a time of 26.02, following her in fourth was Jillian Pitchell at 26.17.

1 Meter Diving:
Lexi Dominguez won the event with a score of 140.18, following her in second was Lakshmi Garofalo at 131.03.

100 Yard Freestyle:
Loiacano placed third with a time of 56.59. Jillian Pichell finished fifth at 58.14.

200 Yard Backstroke:
Roney placed second with a time of 2:19.01, following her in third was Julia Pitchell at 2:20.23.

200 Yard Breaststroke:
Baker won the event with a time of 2:31.77. Lyons placed third with a time of 2:38.11.

500 Yard Freestyle:
Castillo won the event with a time of 5:24.69, following her in second was Uricchio at 5:32.17. Hanna rounded out the top three at 5:36.51.

100 Yard Butterfly:
Kennedy won the event with a time of 1:00.73. Following her in second place, was Kali Dominguez with a time of 1:02.95.

3 Meter Diving:
Lexi Dominguez won the event with a score of 151.73, following her in second was Garofalo at 132.08.

Southern Connecticut returns to the home waters of the Hutchinson Natatorium to take on the United States Merchant Marine Academy on Jan. 9 in a non-conference match up at 6 PM.
