SCSU Women's Swimming and Diving Bests Assumption University 151-90, For Third Straight Win

NEW HAVEN, CONN.—Southern Connecticut Women's Swimming and Diving won their third straight meet besting Assumption University 151-90.

200 Yard Medley Relay:
A Southern Connecticut Relay team of Reina Loiacano, Emma St Hillaire, Paola Castillo and Molly Kennedy won the event with a time of 1:45.00. Another Southern Connecticut team of Abby Lyons, Ellyn Baker, Julia Pitchell and Aralyn Vogel finished fourth at 2:22.88.

1000 Yard Freestyle:
Ava Emmerich won the event with a time of 11:20.77. Lakshmi Garofalo finished third at 11:57.87.

200 Yard Freestyle:
Zoe McNeill won the event with a time of 2:05.90. Following her in second, was Abby Lyons at 2:06.04. Rounding out the top four were Julia Pitchell in third at 2:08.84 and Lexi Dominguez with a time of 2:14.31.

100 Yard Backstroke:
Kali Dominguez won the event with a time of 1:04.23. Following her in second, was Molly Kennedy at 1:06.58.

100 Yard Breaststroke:
Rachael Bing finished in second with a time of 1:13.03. Jilian Pitchell placed third at 1:15.15 and following her in fourth was Reina Loiacano at 1:15.56.

200 Yard Butterfly:
Paola Castillo won the event with a time of 2:16.15. Following her in second place, was Ellyn Baker at 2:30.93. Rounding out the top four were Ainsley Dall at 2:34.52 and Jade Ventura at 2:35.12.

50 Yard Freestyle:
Emily Denise won the event with a time of 25.61. Following her in second place, was Ally Quitos at 26.62.

100 Yard Freestyle:
Sierra DuCharme won the event with a time of 56.75. Following her in second, was Zoe McNeill at 58.11. Rounding out the top three, was Abby Lyons at 58.43.

200 Yard Backstroke:
Aralyn Vogel won the event with a time of 2:14.50. Following her in second, was Reina Loiacano at 2:19.03.

200 Yard Breaststroke:
Emma St. Hillaire finished in second with a time of 2:28.98. Following her in third, was Ally Quitos at 2:31.60. Rounding out the top four, was Jade Ventura at 3:05.52.

500 Yard Freestyle:
Jasmine Uricchio won the event with a time of 5:19.86. Following her in second place, was Kali Dominguez at 5:21.21. Rounding out the top four, were Ainsley Dall in third place crossing the line in 5:47.10 and Lakshmi Garofalo in fourth place at 5:50.95.

Southern Connecticut is back in action on Saturday January 17 for their final home meet and senior day ceremony against Northeast 10 Conference foe Bentley University at 1 PM.
