Emma St. Hilaire named NE10 Women's Swimmer of the Week

Southern Connecticut Women's Swimming and Diving Standout Emma St. Hilaire was named the Northeast 10 Conference Women's Swimmer of the Week for the first time in her career.

Against the United States Merchant Marine Academy on Friday, the junior bested the competition in both the 100-yard breaststroke and the 200-yard individual medley (IM). In the breaststroke, St. Hilaire finished with a time of 1:09.61, which ranks 10th in the NE10 and in the 200 IM, St. Hilaire finished at 2:14.95 which ranks 6th in the conference.

St. Hilaire's dominant weekend did not stop there, the following day against Assumption St. Hilaire helped the Owls to a win in the 200-yard medley relay. The team of St. Hilaire, Reina Loiacano, Paola Castillo and Molly Kennedy crossed the line in 1:45.
