SCSU Women's Swimming and Diving Bests Bentley University 163.50-120.50, for Fourth-Straight Dual Meet Win

NEW HAVEN, CONN-- Southern Connecticut Women's Swimming and Diving defeated Bentley 163.50-120.50 for their fourth straight dual meet win of the season.

200 Yard Medley Relay:
A Southern Connecticut relay team of Reina Loiacano, Emma St Hillaire, Julia Pitchell and Jillian Pitchell placed first with a time of 1:52.31. Following them in second, was another Southern Connecticut team of Abby Lyons, Ally Quitos, Aralyn Vogel and Emily Denise at 1:53.05.

1650 Yard Freestyle:
Paola Castillo won the event with a time of 18:18.08. Sierra DuCharme placed fourth at 18:42.60.

200 Yard Freestyle:
Molly Kennedy won the event with a time of 1:56.16, following her in second was Ava Emmerich at 2:03.50. Reina Loiacano placed third at 2:04.72 and rounding out the point scorers in fourth was Jilian Pitchell at 2:05.62.

100 Yard Backstroke:
Abby Lyons won the event with a time of 1:01.25. Following her in second, was Julia Pitchell at 1:01.53. Rounding out the top three, was Zoe McNeill at 1:03.78.

100 Yard Breaststroke:
Ally Quitos placed second with a time of 1:08.28. Ellyn Baker finished third at 1:09.60. Rounding out the top four, was Rachael Bing at 1:11.33.

200 Yard Butterfly:
Jasmine Uricchio won the event with a time of 2:11.34. Paola Castillo placed second at 2:14.38 and following her in third was Emma St Hillaire at 2:16.75. Rounding out the top four, was Aralyn Vogel at 2:19.26.

50 Yard Freestyle:
Molly Kennedy won the event with a time of 24.42. Emily Denise placed third at 26.07.

100 Yard Freestyle:
Molly Kennedy won the event with a time of 53.45. Reina Loiacano placed second at 55.64.

200 Yard Backstroke:
Abby Lyons placed second with a time of 2:12.17. Zoe McNeill placed third at 2:13.78 and following her in fourth was Sara Roney at 2:17.45.

200 Yard Breaststroke:
Ellyn Baker placed second with a time of 2:29.64. Following her in third, was Ally Quitos at 2:30.12.

500 Yard Freestyle:
Sierra DuCharme placed second with a time of 5:26.27. Following her in third, was Jade Ventura at 5:37.41.

100 Yard Butterfly:
Julia Pitchell won the event with a time of 59.91. Jasmine Uricchio placed second with a time of 1:00.51.

200 Yard Freestyle Relay:
A Southern Connecticut Relay team of Jasmine Uricchio, Julia Pitchell, Kali Dominguez and Paola Castillo won the event with a time of 1:44.49.

1 Meter Diving:
Lexi Dominguez finished second scoring 154.20. Following her in third, was Lakshmi Garofalo at 123.75.

Southern Connecticut is back in action on Saturday January 24th when they travel to Saint Michael's College for a Northeast 10 Conference match up starting at noon.
