SCSU Men's Swimming and Diving Bests Saint Michael's College 185-106, For Third-Straight Dual Meet Win

Colchester, VT-- Southern Connecticut Men's Swimming and Diving bested Saint Michael's College 185-106, for their third-straight dual meet win of the season.

200 Yard Freestyle Relay:
A Southern Connecticut relay team of Mason Durant, Nicholas Fournier, Daniel Lazar and Travis Scott won the event with a time of 1:41.53. Another Southern Connecticut team of Jack Fry, Ben Frazer, Zach Krantz and Dylan Prescher followed them in second place with a time of 1:41.57.

1000 Yard Freestyle:
Lucas Quiroga placed second with a time of 10:27.06. Vincent Roney finished in fourth place at 11:14.79.

200 Yard Freestyle:
Jack Fry won the event with a time of 1:45.90. Alexander Ahrens placed third at 1:51.13.

100 Yard Backstroke:
Mason Durant won the event with a time of 56.26. Following him in second, was Daniel Lazar at 57.66.

100 Yard Breaststroke:
Sam Whitaker won the event with a time of 1:03.22. Richie Hall placed third with a time of 1:05.68.

200 Yard Butterfly:
Lucas Quiroga won the event with a time of 2:02.92. Following him in second, was Dylan Prescher with a time of 2:04.10.

50 Yard Freestyle:
Ben Frazer won the event with a time of 22.11. Following him in second, was Travis Scott with a time of 22.91. Rounding out the top three, was Nick Zerva with a time of 24.08.

3 Meter Diving:
Elliott Speckhard won the event scoring 187.85 points.

100 Yard Freestyle:
Daniel Lazar placed second with a time of 49.67. Following him in third, was Samir Souidi with a time of 50.69.

200 Yard Backstroke:
Mason Durant won the event with a time of 2:04.06. Sam Whitaker finished third at 2:08.33.

200 Yard Breaststroke:
Kris Janney won the event with a time of 2:20.04. Following him in second place, was Nicholas Fournier with a time of 2:21.23.

500 Yard Freestyle:
Richie Hall finished in third place with a time of 4:56.22. Following him in fourth place, was James Custer with a time of 5:15.58.

100 Yard Butterfly:
Jack Fry won the event with a time of 54.54. Alexander Ahrens placed third with a time of 56.21.

1 Meter Diving:
Elliott Speckhard won the event with a time of 234.55.

400 Yard IM:
Samir Souidi won the event with a time of 4:25.52. Nick Zerva placed third with a time of 4:38.23.

200 Yard Freestyle Relay:
A Southern Connecticut relay team of Dylan Prescher, Travis Scott, Aiden Kennedy and Mason Durant won the event with a time of 1:29.86. Another Southern Connecticut relay team of Richie Hall, Kris Janney, Zach Krantz and Alexander Ahrens placed third with a time of 1:35.54.

Southern Connecticut is back in action for the Northeast 10 Conference Championship meet in Worcester, Mass from Feb 12 to Feb 15.
