WORCESTER, Mass. – The Southern Connecticut men's swimming and diving team wrapped up the third day at the NE10 Championships in fourth place with a total of 430.5 points. The Owls picked up two more medals in the 200 Yard Freestyle and the 1-Meter Diving.
400 Yard Individual Medley
Kris Janney led the Owls in the 400 IM with a time of 4:09.48 in sixth place, while Richie Hall was 10th at 4:10.58.
100 Yard Butterfly
Mason Durant posted a team-best time of 51.16 for seventh place while Daniel Lazar was 11th at 51.79.
200 Yard Freestyle
Dylan Prescher captured the Bronze Medal in the 200 Yard Freestyle with a time of 1:41.94. Jack Fry finished 4th at 1:42.31.
100 Yard Breaststroke
Ben Frazer finished 7th in the 100 Yard Breaststroke with a time of 57.28. Nick Fournier was 11th at 59.87.
200 Yard Medley Relay
The "A" relay team of
Daniel Lazar,
Ben Frazer,
Mason Durant and
Jack Fry finished in fourth place in a time of 1:34.20.
1 Meter Diving
Elliott Speckhard returned to the podium in the 1 Meter Diving as he captured the silver medal and recorded a total of 396.95 points.
Cole Mullarkey finished in fifth place with a total of 346.75 points.
The Owls will return to the final day of NE10 Championship action tomorrow with the 1,650 freestyle, 200-yard backstroke, 100-yard freestyle, 200-yard breaststroke, 200-yard butterfly and the 400-yard freestyle relay.
