Elliot Speckhard Named to 2026 CSC Academic All-District Team

Southern Connecticut State University men's swimming and diving standout Elliott Speckhard was named to the 2026 Academic All-District Men's Swimming and Diving Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators. To qualify for the award, athletes must be at least a sophomore athletically or academically with a GPA of 3.5 or higher. In the pool, athletes must compete in at least 75% of team meets, finish in the top eight at their conference meet or participate in the national championships. 

Elliott Speckhard had a fantastic second season for the Owls  as he received a silver medal on the one meter board with 396.95 points and a bronze medal on the three meter board with 381 points.These were Speckhard's third and fourth medals at Northeast 10 Conference Championships in his career after capturing a silver medal on the one-meter board and a bronze on the three-meter board in his freshman season. Along with being selected to the CSC Academic All-District teams, Speckhard was named to the Northeast 10 Academic All Conference team this season. 

The 2024-25 Academic All-District® Men's Swimming and Diving Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2024-25 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.
