Biography

As a Junior in 2011:
Northeast-10 Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll honoree...Made 28 appearances and started 24 games in the circle, finishing 10-10 with a 5.19 ERA…Recorded two shutouts and threw 12 complete games…Ranked second on the team in strikeouts (56) and innings pitched (119.2)...Notched her first complete game against Adelphi on 4/3, allowing four earned runs and striking out six batters…Returned to the mound on 4/6 against St. Rose and threw another complete game, this time allowing no earned runs to earn her first victory of the season…Merited two earned runs in five innings to earn the win against UMass-Lowell on 4/10...Tossed consecutive complete game efforts on 4/17 against Bentley and 4/21 against LeMoyne, allowing only three earned runs between those two starts…Pitched a complete game against Franklin Pierce on 4/29, allowing one earned run on eight hits with three strikeouts…Threw a combined 15 innings and allowed no earned runs while striking out 10 batters in a doubleheader against Saint Anselm on 5/1…Picked up two victories in the Northeast-10 Conference Tournament on 5/8, once each against New Haven and Merrimack, throwing a combined 12.1 innings...Allowed just two earned runs in each of the contests…Tossed her final complete game in the NCAA Tournament against Merrimack on 5/14, giving up only one earned run over seven innings...Went the final inning of the NCAA Tournament game against Merrimack on 5/15 to record a win.


As a Sophomore in 2010:
Made 23 appearances with 17 starts…Recorded eight complete games…Closed the year with a 9-5 record and a 2.56 earned run average…Stuck out 70 in 104 innings of work…Threw eight complete games…Went seven innings with two runs scored and four strikeouts against Molloy on 3/13…Threw seven innings with one run and five strikeouts against Philadelphia on 3/14…Tallied six strikeouts against Dowling on 3/25…Threw four innings without allowing an earned run against Saint Rose on 4/7…Pitched five innings with zero runs and had five strikeouts against Bentley on 4/30…In seven innings, allowed two runs and had six strikeouts against Saint Anselm on 5/2…Allowed just one run in 4.1 innings of work against Adelphi on 5/8 in the Northeast-10 Tournament.

As a Freshman in 2009:
Played in 19 games, including seven starts…Finished third on the team in wins (8), appearances (19), saves (2), shutouts (1), innings pitched (68), lowest ERA (2.37) and complete games (4)…Tossed a complete game, allowed one run on five hits and struck out three in a 2-1 win against Wayne State (Neb) on 3/14…Pitched 6.1 innings, allowed one run on four hits and struck out three in a 6-1 win against Bridgeport on 3/20…Threw 5.2 innings, allowed three runs, scattered nine hits and struck out one in a 4-3 win over Saint Michael’s on 3/27…Tossed six innings, allowed one run on four hits and a walk in 9-1 victory over Bentley on 4/25…Threw a complete game, allowed one run on two hits and struck out two in a 4-1 win against Merrimack on 4/26.

Attended Coginchaug Regional High School…Recipient of the Scholar-Athlete award...Three-time First Team All-State selection…Three-time All-Area and All-Shoreline honoree…Led the team to three Class S State Championships and was named the Championship Game MVP in 2008…Named the team MVP in 2007-08...Recipient of the Middletown Press Player of the Year award in 2008…Team captain as a junior and senior.
