Coach's Comments: “Joe works very hard day in and day out. He is physically strong and is a good athlete. Joe will battle for a role off the bench and minutes in our frontcourt this season. He is a tough competitor and plays hard every possession”.

As a Freshman in 2010-11:
Played in 14 games for the Owls...Key reserve off the bench...Finished the year with averages of 1.6 points and 1.4 rebounds per game...Made his SCSU debut in the season opener against Chestnut Hill. Scored two points, had one rebound and one assist...Tallied one rebound in the win over LeMoyne...Had one rebound and one assist in the win over St. Thomas Aquinas...Tallied a rebound in the home game against Bentley...Finished with a rebound in the game at St. Michael’s...Came off the bench to score four points, pull down a rebound and hand out an assist in the win over Franklin Pierce...Tallied eight points and five rebounds in the game against Saint Anselm...Finished with four points and three rebounds in the game at SNHU...Pulled down three rebounds in just four minutes of action in the win over Merrimack...Recorded one assist and one steal in the game at UMass-Lowell...Scored two points with one rebound in win over Pace...Registered two points, one rebound and one assist in the game at AIC.

Before Southern Connecticut State University:
All-State selection at Abbott Tech (Conn.) High School...First player in more than 40 years to earn All-State honors back-to-back years...Three-time All-Conference pick...League MVP as a junior...Two-time All-Area pick...Helped team win two league titles...Team captain...Also an All-State soccer player.
