2009 Northeast-10 Softball All-Academic Team selection

As a Junior in 2009:
Started in all 49 games for the Owls…Led the team with five sacrifice hits; finished second on the team in runs scored (30) and stolen bases (14) and third on the team in hits (43)…Compiled a .270 batting average, six doubles, a triple, two homeruns, 12 RBI, 14 walks and a .339 on-base-percentage…Went 2-for-3 with a run scored against Wayne State (NE) on 3/14…Closed 1-for-2 with a triple and two runs scored against Nyack on 3/14…Finished 1-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored in the front end of a doubleheader against Bridgeport on 3/20…Collected a hit, an RBI and a run scored in the second game of the twinbill against Adelphi on 3/25…Combined to go 3-for-7 with three runs scored and an RBI in a doubleheader against Saint Michael’s on 3/27…Went 3-for-4 with two doubles and a run scored in the first game of a doubleheader against Saint Anselm on 3/28…Finished 2-for-5 with a homerun, a double, two runs scored and an RBI in the back end of a twinbill against Southern New Hampshire on 4/4…Combined to go 3-for-6 with two RBI, a run scored and two stolen bases in a doubleheader against Stonehill on 4/18…Finished 2-for-4 with a homerun, three walks, three runs scored and two RBI in a doubleheader against Franklin Pierce on 4/23.

As a Sophomore in 2008:
Started in all 51 games for the Owls…Led the team in sacrifice hits (10) and ranked third in steals (9)…Hit .222 with 23 runs scored, 12 RBI, seven doubles, one triple, 11 walks and 45 total bases…Finished 3-for-3 with two runs scored, an RBI, a walk and a stolen base against Mercy on 3/10…Closed 2-for-4 with an RBI and a double in the first game of a doubleheader against Dominican College on 3/11…Went 3-for-4 with two runs scored and a double against Millersville on 3/16…Finished 2-for-4 with two RBI and a run scored in the second game of a doubleheader against UNH on 3/27…Closed 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored against Bryant on 4/1…Went 1-for-4 with an RBI, a run scored and a triple in the first game of a doubleheader against Saint Rose on 4/6…Finished 2-for-2 with a run scored, a walk and a stolen base against Assumption on 4/8…Closed 3-for-3 with two runs scored against St. Anselm on 4/26…Went 2-for-3 with a run scored and a double against Saint Anselm on 5/3.

Attended Northern Oklahoma College…Prior to that, attended Aztec (N.M.) High School...All-District selection...Team caption as a junior and senior...Also was a member of the volleyball and soccer teams.
