All-Region selection in the hammer throw and weight throw…Competed in the shot put and weight throw at the Spartan Invite on 1/12…Placed seventh in the weight throw and 13th in the shot put at the URI Sorlien Memorial Invitational on 1/20…Took 21st in the weight throw (15.00m) at the New England Indoor Championships on 2/2… Captured fourth in the weight throw (16.53m) and fifth in the shot put (14.29m) at the NE10 Indoor Championships on 2/17…Placed fourth in the weight throw (15.86m) at the Brother Jasper Invitational on 2/23…Took fourth in the hammer throw (50.48m) and seventh in the shot put (13.30m) at the Mark Young Invitational on 4/7…Claimed 10th in the hammer throw (50.48m) and 19th in the shot put (12.83m) at the UConn Northeast Challenge on 4/14…Finished sixth in the hammer throw (51.52m) and ninth in the shot put (13.62m) at the George Davis Invitational on 4/21…Took second in the hammer throw (51.66m) and ninth in the shot put (13.61m) at the NE10 Outdoor Championships on 5/4-5…Finished 14th in the shot put and 16th in the hammer throw at the New England Championships.

Finished seventh in weight throw (13.87m) and 10th in shot put (12.34m) at The Elm City Challenge on December 10…Placed ninth in weight throw (12.66m) at the Dartmouth Relays on January 10…Finished 11th in weight throw (13.81m) at the Tufts Stampede and Multi on January 30…Took fourth in weight throw (13.95m) and eighth in shot put (13.28m) at the Manhattan College Draddy Invitational on February 13…Finished ninth in shot put (13.50m) and 18th in weight throw (12.46m) at the Northeast-10 Indoor Track and Field Championships on February 20…Finished  fourth in hammer throw (48.60m) and fifth in shot put (12.41m) at the Yale Multi Team on April 2…Was fifth in hammer throw (47.30m) at the Mets Outdoor Track and Field Championships on April 8…Placed 10th in hammer throw (49.28m) and 12th in shot put (13.25m) at the UCONN Northeast Challenge on April 16…Finished sixth in hammer throw (46.85m) and 10th in shot put (13.59m) at the George Davis Invitational on April 23…Placed fifth in hammer throw (49.85m) and seventh in shot put (13.67m) at the Northeast-10 Outdoor Track and Field Championships on May 6…Finished 22nd in hammer throw (42.75m) at the New England Outdoor Track and Field Championships on May 13.

Team captain at Plainfield (Conn.) High School… All-State, four-time All-ECC and two-time All-Area selection...Also played football.
