Played one season at Saint Anselm College...In 41 games as a freshman, batted .241 with a .323 on-base pct. in 137 at bats...Hit two home runs while tallying 23 runs scored and 20 RBI...Collected 13 walks...While at Xavier High School (Conn.), he was also a member of the three-time state champion football team.
