Two-time First-Team NJCAA All-American at Manchester (Conn.) Community College...Helped MCC reach the NJCAA Division III World Series...Compiled a 13-1 record with a 1.45 ERA in his two seasons with the club...Fanned 165 batters in 122 innings...Posted a 5-1 mark with a 1.50 ERA as a sophomore with 97 strikeouts in 64 innings pitched...Went 8-0 with a 2.02 ERA as a freshman with 69 strikeouts in 62/1 innings pitched...Played scholastically at Newington (Conn.) High, where he helped the squad reach the state finals as a junior.
