One of only two Owls in program history to be a four-year All-Conference performer, Martin Manson is in his second season as an assistant coach at SCSU in 2018-19.

Manson was also a three-time All-ECAC selection and team captain as a senior, helping the Owls reach the NCAA playoffs on multiple occasions. He was selected to play in the East Coast Bowl and the Cactus Bowl at the conclusion of his senior season. He later went on to sign a contract with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the Canadian Football League,
