Matthew Boyle is an assistant football coach at Southern Connecticut State, coaching wide receivers.

Boyle graduated from West Virginia University in 2016 with a bachelor's degree in athletic coaching education.

He was assistant wide receivers coach at Plymouth State University in 2025, helping the Panthers go 8-2 and tie for first in the conference for the first time since 2017. He was an offensive analyst and assistant wide receivers coach at Indiana State University in 2024.

From 2022-23, Boyle was a graduate assistant coaching defensive line and outside linebackers at Henderson State, where the team broke the single-game sack record with nine sacks and set the Great American Conference season record with 40 sacks and reached the NCAA Division II playoffs for the first time since 2016. He coached an All-America linebacker and multiple all-conference selections.

His previous stops include director of football operations and defense and special teams quality control and assistant outside linebackers coach from 2019-21, defensive backs coach at East Coast Prep in 2018 and assistant coach at Worcester State from 2016-17.

Boyle is from Grafton, Massachusetts.
