Former SCSU standout Nathan Tyler is in his third season as an assistant coach with the Owls in 2018. He will coach the team's inside linebackers and will serve as the recruiting coordinator.

Tyler rejoined the Owls after a stop at the collegiate level at St. Anselm College and two years at the scholastic level at Northwest Catholic (Conn).
