Southern Connecticut State University Athletics

Ralph DeSantis is in his fourth year as the tight ends coach for the Owls. Prior to joining the staff, he spent seven years as a coach at his alma mater, Pomperaug High of Southbury, Conn. 

DeSantis helped Pomperaug reach the CIAC State Playoffs on four occasions, including a state title in 2004.Pomperaug also claimed two South-West Conference crowns during his tenure. 

As a player, DeSantis enjoyed a four-year career at Pomperaug (1996-99). As a senior, he helped the club qualify for the CIAC playoffs. 

DeSantis resides in Southbury.
