As a Junior in 2009:
All-Northeast-10 Conference selection…Sixth on the team with 33 tackles (20 solo)…Led the team with three interceptions…Also broke up four passes on the year…Made two tackles in opener against IUP…Had a tackle in the game at Bryant…Made three tackles and broke up a pass in the game against Pace…Finished with three tackles and broke up two passes in the win over AIC…Tallied five tackles in the win over Assumption…Made four tackles and broke up a pass in the win over New Haven…Registered three tackles and picked off two passes in the game at Bentley…Had six tackles and an interception in the win over Stonehill…Tallied six tackles in the game against Merrimack…Returned three punts for 33 yards and had two kickoff returns for 53 yards in the regular season finale at St. Anselm. 

As a Sophomore in 2008:
Played in seven games for the Owls…Saw significant action on special teams...Returned three kickoffs for 22 yards in the game against Bryant…Finished with one tackle in the win over Pace…Had a tackle in the win over Assumption…Recorded one tackle in NCAA game at West Chester.

As a Freshman in 2007: (at Cheyney University)
Took part in all 11 games...Registered 25 tackles (19 solo)...Led the squad with five passes defended...Second on the team with two interceptions.

Before College:
All-Conference and All-County pick at Passaic County Technical Institute...Honorable Mention All-Area performer...Team MVP as a senior...Also a team captain as a senior.

The son of Bernadette Kirkland...Born in Wayne, N.J...A sociology major.
