Before Southern Connecticut State University:
- Competed in football and track at Danbury High School (Conn.)
- Set Danbury High School record in the Triple Jump
- Back-to-back All-FCIAC and All-State selection for Triple Jump
- Helped lead Danbury High School to 2023 State Championships Runner-Up

- Son to Christina Norman and Jonah Joyner II
- Majoring in Physics Engineering with plans to compete in the Olympics
