Kiana Steinauer (Oakville, Ontario) averaged 23 ppg, 16.0 rpg, 3.0 spg and 3.5 apg in a 1-1 week for the Owls. She notched her conference-leading 22nd double-double of the year with 12 points and 21 rebounds adding five assists and two steals against Adelphi. With 21 rebounds, Steinauer also broke a 35-year old NE10 record for single-season rebounds with 416. In addition, she became the first player in NE10 history to record 400+ points and 400+ rebounds in a single season. The junior forward added her 23rd double-double, eclipsing her career-high in points with 34 and 11 rebounds adding four steals and two assists, while shooting 12-for-21 (57%) and 3-for-6 from beyond the arc. Steinauer also tallied nine of the Owls’ 11 overtime points in their triumphant win over Pace to clinch an NE10 playoff berth.
