NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Senior Caroline Staudle (New Windsor, N.Y.) of the women’s soccer team and senior Devante Jenkins (Carson, Calif.) of the football team have been named as the Southern Connecticut State University Athletes of the Week.

Staudle captured Athlete of the Week honors for the second week in a row after once again helping her squad to a 1-0-1 week. She registered three points (one goal, one assist) in a 3-2 victory over LeMoyne, including the game-tying goal with 3:10 left in regulation.

Jenkins posted four catches for a career-high 137 receiving yards in Saturday’s 30-23 loss to No. 14 nationally ranked LIU-Post. He also hauled in two touchdowns on the afternoon.
