TONIGHT'S GAME
The Southern Connecticut State University men's basketball team begins a stretch of three non-conference home games as they challenge the Golden Falcons from Felician College. The action tips off from Moore Fieldhouse in New Haven at 7 p.m. The Owls enter the contest at 1-6 overall and 0-6 in the Northeast-10 Conference.
LAST TIME OUT
The Owls fell at American International by a score of 79-61. Ktrice McNeill led the SCSU offense with 18 points in the loss. The Owls' last scheduled game, against Merrimack on Dec. 14, was postponed due to a scheduling conflict relating to the officiating crew. As of yet, no makeup date has been announced.
DID YOU MISS US?
Tonight's game marks the beginning of a four game home stand. The Owls have not played a home game since Dec. 1 against Saint Michael's. The next road contest for SCSU will be Jan. 8 at Pace University.
SCOUTING THE GOLDEN FALCONS
Felician enters the game at 4-5 overall and 0-2 in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference. In their 78-70 non-conference men's basketball victory over host Molloy College on Monday night, the Golden Falcons received 22 points and 11 rebounds from senior guard Jason Romer, as well as 17 points from Devon Young. On the season, Young leads the Felician offense with 17.4 points per contest.
AGAINST COMMON OPPONENTS
The Owls and Golden Falcons have both played at the University of New Haven this season. SCSU defeated the Chargers by a 76-74 mark, while Felician lost on their trip to West Haven by a score of 87-83.
HISTORY LESSON
Southern Connecticut has won its only two meetings against Felician. The Owls and Golden Falcons last met in the 2002-03 season, with the Owls taking the victory by a score of 70-63. SCSU won the only other meeting, in the 1999-2000 season, by a score of 84-55.
LEADING THE SCORING ATTACK
Senior forward Ktrice McNeill leads the Owls' offense in the 2007-08 campaign with 14.6 points per game. McNeill has posted the team high for SCSU in four consecutive games, averaging 19.5 points per game in that span.

Trevor Harris are also averaging double figures for the Owls with 11.7 and 11.6 points per game respectively.

Trevor Harris is also the Owls leading assist man with 30 dimes (4.3 apg). Harris led the 2006-07 Owls with 3.3 per contest.
CLEANING THE GLASS
Senior forward Devon Sullivan has pulled down 13 rebounds in each of the past two games. On the season, Sullivan leads the Owls with 7.4 rebounds per contest. Senior forward Ktrice McNeill leads SCSU with 22 offensive rebounds, contributing 7.0 boards per game overall.

ACCEPTING CHARITY
Junior guard
Justin Gardenhire went 8-for-10 on foul shots in the Owls' 76-74 win against the University of New Haven. All of Gardenhire's free throw attempts in that game came in the second half. On the season, Gardenhire is 34-for-45 (.756) from the line, leading that category among Owls with ten attempts or more from the stripe.

The six newcomers to the SCSU lineup have accounted for 24.9 points per game this season, over 35% of the team's total scoring.
WITH HONORS
Senior forward Ktrice McNeill was named to the Northeast-10 Weekly Honor Roll in two consecutive. McNeill posted 20.0 points and 9.0 rebounds in the Owls two games in the week ending Dec. 2. He then posted 19.0 points and 7.0 rebounds in two games during the week ending Dec. 9. McNeill led the Owls in scoring in all four games during that stretch.
SETTING THE BAR
In his fifth game in an SCSU uniform against No. 19 Saint Michael's on Dec. 1, junior forward
Preston Bell posted 11 points, pulled down five rebounds, and dished out two assists in 26 minutes of action. All of these statistics mark career highs for Bell.
RETURNING TO ACTION
After missing the entire 2006-07 season, senior forward Ktrice McNeill returns to the Owls lineup in the 2007-08 campaign. In the 2005-06 season, McNeill posted 10.9 points and 5.7 rebounds per game for the Owls.
