MISENHEIMER, N.C. – The Southern Connecticut State University volleyball team split its two matches on Friday night at the Pfeiffer University Tournament. In their first match, SCSU defeated Columbia (S.C.) College, 3-1. In the nightcap, the Owls were swept by Fayetteville State (N.C.) University.

The Owls are back in action on Saturday in the second day of the Pfeiffer University Tournament. SCSU will take on Coker (S.C.) College at 12:30 p.m. before playing Pfeiffer at 2:30 p.m.
