COLCHESTER, VT. – SCSU traveled up north to Colchester, VT. for a conference match against St. Michael's College on Saturday afternoon, and battled the Purple Knights to a 0-0 draw. With the tie the Owls record went to 5-5-5, 4-2-5 in Northeast-10 competition, while St. Michael's record improved to 6-6-3, 3-4-3 in the league.

In this very evenly played match, neither team could score to break the deadlock. SCSU controlled much of the possession and did hold a 14-9 advantage in shots for the game.

Andrew Esposito (East Haven, Conn.) made five saves in the game for the Owls, while Jason Burnett recorded four saves in the draw for the Purple Knights.

SCSU will play its final regular season road game on Oct. 22, when they travel to Springfield, Mass. for a conference match against AIC. Game time for the match is set for 4 p.m.
