SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Sophomore Broghan Miller (West Hartford, Conn.) led the Owls with 9 kills on Tuesday night but the Southern Connecticut State University volleyball team fell to AIC, 3-0. They lost by the scores of 25-20, 25-19 and 25-16.

The loss ended the Owls four game win streak. They are now 19-5 overall and 4-2 in the Northeast-10 Conference. AIC is 7-9 and 3-3 in the Northeast-10.

Junior Jenna Tammel (Spring Valley, Minn.) tallied 7 kills and freshman Andrea Nolan (Ridegfield, N.J.) had a team-high 22 assists for the Owls.

Ellisha Terry and Alicia Smith registered 15 and 11 kills respectively for AIC.

The Owls return to action on Saturday, Oct. 11 when they will travel to New Jersey for a tri-match against NE-10 opponent Philadelphia at 3:00 p.m. and Felician at 5:00 p.m.
