Tobin Carberry (Hamden, Conn.) dropped 22 points on Sunday but the Southern Connecticut State University men's basketball team fell short to Northeast-10 opponent AIC, 62-50. Carberry has now scored 20 or more points in four of the Owls first six games this season.
The Owls are now 0-6 overall and 0-3 in the NE-10. AIC has improved to 4-1 and 4-0 in the conference.

AIC jumped out to a large lead in the second half, leading by as much as 16 but the Owls went on a 9-0 run to cut the deficit to seven at the 5:26 mark. However, that would be the closet Southern would get as the Yellow Jackets pulled away to take a 62-50 win.

Clyde Chapman (Brooklyn, N.Y) joined Ramsey in double-digit rebounds with 10 and sophomore
