COLCHESTER, Vt. - The No. 25 nationally ranked Southern Connecticut State University men's soccer team fell to Saint Michael's, 1-0, in Saturday's Northeast-10 Conference game. With the loss, the Owls are now 4-1 overall and 2-1 in the Northeast-10, while Saint Michael's improved 5-1 on the season, 2-0 in the Northeast-10.
Rob Irving scored off a corner kick at the 29:58 mark of the first half to give Saint Michael's a 1-0 lead. Ryan Gannon delivered the assist on the lone goal of the game.
Goaltender Logan Kingman recorded a shutout as he stopped all seven Owl shots.

Chris Rybacki (Putnam, Conn.) made three saves for SCSU.
Ross McGibney (Dublin, Ireland), along with senior midfielder
Victor Hernandez (Rye Brook, N.Y.) each recorded two shots on goal for the Owls. Junior midfielder

SCSU returns to action on Wednesday when it hosts cross-town rival University of New Haven.
