NORTH EASTON, Mass. - The Southern Connecticut State University men's soccer team defeated Stonehill, 1-0, in Saturday's Northeast-10 Conference men's soccer game. With the win the Owls improve to 6-1 on the season, and 2-1 in NE-10 play, while Stonehill drops to 3-3-1 on the year, 1-3-1 in the NE-10.

Both teams played a scoreless game for 81:52 before sophomore forward Seth Ragaini's (Seymour, Conn.) goal gave the Owls a 1-0 lead. Victor Hernandez (Rye Book, N.Y.) delivered an assistant to set up the goal.

SCSU played outstanding defense as goaltender Andrew Esposito (East Haven, Conn.) only faced one shot on goal to improve his record to 2-0 on the season.

For Le Moyne, Brandon McFarlane made four saves.

The Owls will return to action on they host conference opponent Saint Rose on Tuesday night at Jess Dow Field.
