NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Junior midfielder Luke Perry (Macclesfield, England) produced the game-winning goal in the 98th minute to send the Southern Connecticut State University men's soccer team to a 1-0 win over UMass-Lowell on Saturday.

Perry received a pass in the box from Francisco Lara (Laredo, Texas) and tucked the ball pass the goaltender in the lower left corner. The game was back-and-forth throughtout the entire game. The shot totals were almost identical going 11-to-10 in favor of the Owls.

Yoni Feldman (Ramat Gan, Israel) lead the team in shots with three shots on goal. Perry finished the day with two shots on goal.

Senior goalkeeper Andre Esposito (East Haven, Conn.) picked up the shutout, stopping all six shots on goal.

The Owls next game will be Tuesday when they host Assumption College. The game is scheduled to start at 7 p.m.
