NEW HAVEN, Conn. Junior Luke Perry (Macclesfield, England) tried to rally the Owls late in the second half with a goal, but Southern Men's Soccer fell to No. 3 Nationally Ranked Franklin Pierce 3-1 Wednesday night at Jess Dow Field
 
Perry scored on a pass from Yoni Feldman (Ramat Gan, Israel) inside the 18 yard box in the 81st minute.
 
Southern's Andrew Esposito (East Haven, Conn.) stopped five shots in the contest.
 
The Owls are back in action Saturday, Oct. 8th against St. Anselms College at 4 p.m.
