Mads Larsen (Trondheim, Norway) and shot it into the lower right corner to give the Owls a 2-0 lead.
SCSU took a 2-0 lead into the second half and scored again in the 69

Mario Costa (Pawcatuck, Conn.) made a lead pass to McGibney who did the rest by putting it into the lower left corner to give SCSU a 3-0 lead. DiMiceli would score one more time after he received a pass from redshirt freshman
Tyler Naef (Hasbrouck Heights, N.J.) and beat the goalkeeper to give him his third goal of the game and lift the Owls past Bridgeport, 4-0.

Stephen Sasso (Orange, Conn.) got his second shutout of the year blanking the Purple Knights, while recording five saves in the win.
The Owls are now 6-5-1 on the season and will be back in action on Saturday as they travel to take on the number seven ranked River Hawks of Massachusetts-Lowell at 12 p.m.
