NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Southern Connecticut State University Athletic Department hosted its annual 'Girls and Women in Sport' Day on Saturday. Nearly 150 youngsters took part in the festivities, which started with a series of clinics with Owls' coaches and more than 100 student-athletes. The participants also enjoyed a complimentary lunch and a meet-and-greet and autograph session with SCSU student-athletes.
