WALTHAM, Mass. - Greg Langston (Stratford, Conn.) led all scorers with 26 points and Luke Houston (Pearl River, N.Y.) recorded a double- double with15 points and 10 rebounds, as the Southern Connecticut State University men's basketball team defeated Bentley, 88-76.

Langston, the Owls' tri-captain, also corralled five rebounds and dished out four assists.

Michael Mallory (Waterbury, Conn.) came off the bench to corral six rebounds and tally 13 points, while Tylon Smith (Manchester, Conn.) recorded 11 points, seven rebounds and five assists.

The Owls fell behind early yet again, trailing its hosts by 10 with 3:43 left before the half. As they have many a time this season on the hardwood, Southern Connecticut responded. SCSU outscored the Falcons 45-29 after the intermission.

The Owls, now 12-2, 6-2 in the Northeast-10, play next on Tuesday night at Saint Anselm at 7:30 p.m.
