The Hawks quickly cut into the Owls' nine-point advantage, running off a 14-6 run over the next four minutes.

Shortly after returning to the court, Langston added to the Owls' total, scoring eight straight points, a jumper followed by two three-pointers. The senior's second make from beyond the arc put the Owls up 13, 81-68, and effectively ended the contest.
Saint Anselm never trailed by less than 10 points over the final eight minutes.
SCSU, which shot 51% from the field including 13/23 from three-point range, never trailed after a Smith layup put the Owls up 9-8 four minutes into the game.
