Powell recorded 11 points and 13 rebounds against Molloy and tallied 12 points and 16 rebounds against Bridgeport. Beathea registered 12 points and 10 rebounds against Molloy and 21 points and 13 rebounds against Bridgeport.
GROSSBARD WITH THE ASSISTNicole Grossbard tied her career-high in assists with nine against Molloy College on Saturday. She also finished the weekend with a total of 17 assists.
MCLAUGHLIN TALLIES CAREER-HIGH IN POINTSTaylor McLaughlin registered a career-high 22 points against Molloy College on Saturday. She finished the weekend with a total of 23 points and 11 rebounds.
LEADING THE WAY- Jackie Beathea leads the Owls in scoring averaging 16.5 points per game.

LOOKING BACK ON THE SEASON THAT WASThe Southern Connecticut State University women's basketball team closed the regular season with 12 wins and qualified for the Northeast-10 Conference Tournament. The Owls had three student-athletes recognized by the league with year-end honors.

AMONG THE NE-10 LEADERSAmongst the returners, the Owls had two players finish in the top 10 of Northeast-10 Conference participants in three categories.
- Jackie Beathea finished No. 1 in rebounds per game, pulling down 10.1 per contest.
- Jackie Beathea finished No. 1 in offensive rebounds per game, pulling 4.8 per contest.
- Sydney Lester finished No. 5 in steals, tallying 2.1 per contest.
EXCELLING IN THE CLASSROOMSouthern Connecticut had nine student-athletes selected to the Northeast-10 Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll for their work in the classroom during the 2013-14 academic year.
