Jackie Beathea recorded her 11th double-double of the season, 19 points and 14 rebounds. She currently leads the team and ranks second in Div. II in double-doubles.

Jackie Beathea are ranked among the Div. II leaders. Grossbard ranks 28th averaging 5.1 assists per game while Beathea leads the NCAA in offensive rebounds per game (6.0), is second in double-doubles (11) and seventh in rebounds per game (12.3).
ITS ALL ABOUT REBOUNDINGAs of 1/08, the Owls are ranked among the top 50 nationally Div. II programs in one statistical category. The Owls are No. 15 in offensive rebounds per game (17.0).
BEATHEA AMONG SCSU CAREER LEADERSJackie Beathea is now tied in fifth in the all-time career rebounding category with 671 rebounds and tied the single-game high of 19 rebounds on 11/19/14 at Adelphi. She also has a total of 901 career points and is 107 points away from scoring her 1,000th career point.
BENCH SUCCESSSouthern Conn. has benefitted from increased scoring output from nearly its entire roster this season. The team has totaled 1100 points this season while 344 of those points come from off the bench.

LOOKING BACK ON THE SEASON THAT WASThe Southern Connecticut State University women's basketball team closed the regular season with 12 wins and qualified for the Northeast-10 Conference Tournament. The Owls had three student-athletes recognized by the league with year-end honors.
