The Owls will battle the Chargers on Wednesday evening before hosting the Golden Knights on Saturday afternoon.

LAST TIME OUTIn week three, the Owls went 1-1 overall and fell to 0-2 in the conference following the loss to American International, 67-51. Southern Connecticut did bounce back with a 70-60 win against new rival Saint Edward's University.

Jackie Beathea recorded a double-double for the Owls against American International. She recorded 17 points and 13 rebounds.
WILLIAMS NETS CAREER-HIGHIn the 70-60 win over the Hilltoppers on Sunday, sophomore
Chandler Williams set a new career-high with 13 points. She went 3-of-5 from behind the arc and 5-of-9 from the field.

Abby Hurlbert recorded a new career-high six points and career-high two rebounds against Saint Edward's University. She went 3-of-7 from the field and 0-3 from long range.
BEATHEA SETS NEW SCSU SINGLE GAME-HIGHIn the win against the Eagles,
Jackie Beathea set a new SCSU single game-high in rebounds with 22. She posted 10 rebounds in the first half and 12 rebounds in the second half.

LYNCH NOTEKate Lynch '08 begins her first full season as head coach for the Southern Connecticut State University women's basketball team. Lynch has compiled a 81-65 overall record as a head coach. Lynch remains the all-time leading scorer in Owls' history (1,779 points) and ranks fifth all-time in rebounds (650).

LOOKING BACK ON THE SEASON THAT WASThe Southern Connecticut State University women's basketball team closed the regular season with 14 wins and qualified for the Northeast-10 Conference Tournament. The Owls had one student-athlete recognized by the league with year-end honors.
BEATHEA MOVES UP IN SCSU ALL-TIME CHARTSAfer a successful campaign last season,
Jackie Beathea now leads the all-time charts in rebounds with 882 while also ranking 16th in points with 1,118.
BEATHEA NAMED ALL-NE-10For the third year in a row,
Jackie Beathea earned All-Conference honors after an impressive season as she led the Owls in scoring with 384 points and rebounds with 323. She also recorded 16 double-doubles.
AMONG THE NE-10 LEADERSAmongst the returners, the Owls had three players finish in the top five of Northeast-10 Conference participants in four categories.
