• Concordia's only win of the season thus far came against P.R. Bayaman, 74-67
• The Clippers are currently on a three-game losing streak.

• Pace is coming off a big 60-55 win over New Haven on Saturday, Dec. 5.
• Pace will face Bridgeport before facing the Owls on Saturday.

LAST SEASON AGAINST CONCORDIA (N.Y.)In the single game against the Clippers, Southern Connecticut defeated the team 67-61. The Owls had four players score in double-figures.
ALL-TIME AGAINST PACESouthern Connecticut leads Pace in the all-time series with a record of 20-17.
LAST SEASON AGAINST PACESouthern Connecticut went 1-1 last year against the Setters. In the first meeting of the year, the Owls defeated Pace by seven, 59-52.
Taylor McLaughlin led the Owls that evening with a team-high 16 points. In the second meeting of the year, Pace picked up the 61-57 win over the Owls.
Nicole Grossbard recorded a season-high 17 points in that game.
LAST TIME OUTIn week four, Southern Connecticut went 1-1 overall as well as in the conference. The first game of the week, Southern Connecticut lost to cross-town rival the University of New Haven by the score of 66-57. However, the Owls bounced back to pick up their first conference victory against Saint Rose, 70-60.
BEATHEA RECORDS FOURTH DOUBLE-DOUBLEJackie Beathea recorded her fourth double-double of the season as she led the Owls with 15 points, 14 rebounds and a steal against New Haven.
DECKER NETS CAREER-HIGHPaige Decker scored a career-high 19 points as well as recorded a season-high four rebounds and a season-high four assists in the win against Saint Rose.
BEATHEA AMONG NCAA LEADERSAccording to the NCAA Ranking Summary (12/3),

LYNCH NOTEKate Lynch '08 begins her first full season as head coach for the Southern Connecticut State University women's basketball team. Lynch has compiled a 81-65 overall record as a head coach. Lynch remains the all-time leading scorer in Owls' history (1,779 points) and ranks fifth all-time in rebounds (650).

LOOKING BACK ON THE SEASON THAT WASThe Southern Connecticut State University women's basketball team closed the regular season with 14 wins and qualified for the Northeast-10 Conference Tournament. The Owls had one student-athlete recognized by the league with year-end honors.
BEATHEA MOVES UP IN SCSU ALL-TIME CHARTSAfer a successful campaign last season,
Jackie Beathea now leads the all-time charts in rebounds with 924 while also ranking 16th in points with 1,219.
BEATHEA NAMED ALL-NE-10For the third year in a row,
Jackie Beathea earned All-Conference honors after an impressive season as she led the Owls in scoring with 384 points and rebounds with 323. She also recorded 16 double-doubles.
AMONG THE NE-10 LEADERSAmongst the returners, the Owls had three players finish in the top five of Northeast-10 Conference participants in four categories.
