Le Moyne and the Owls each finished with two points in the poll while Le Moyne dropped from eighth to 10th. This is the first time this season the Owls have been tabbed in the east region rankings.

OFFENSIVELY AND DEFENSIVELYAs of 2/1, the Owls are ranked among the top 50 nationally Div. II programs in four statistical categories. The Owls are No. 46 in blocks per game (4.0), No. 48th in three-point field goal defense (28.2), 20th in offensive rebounds per game (17.0) and 50th in defensive rebounds per game (28.0).
BEATHEA LEADS SCSU CAREER LEADERSJackie Beathea leads the SCSU all-time career rebounding category with 841 rebounds and tied the single-game high of 19 rebounds on 11/19/14 at Adelphi.Â
BENCH SUCCESSSouthern Conn. has benefitted from increased scoring output from nearly its entire roster this season. The team has totaled 1466 points this season while 499 of those points come from off the bench.Â

DESALVO NOTEBert DeSalvo is in his first full season as head coach for the Southern Connecticut State University women's basketball team. Entering the season, DeSalvo had compiled a 99-26 (.792) overall record as a head coach.
