Owls Fly High In 3-1 Win Over Bentley

The Owls are back in action on Saturday, Oct. 15 at 7 p.m. as they host the College of Saint Rose

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Junior Louis Greenway Tambini (Nottingham, England) scored two goals in a 3-1 victory over Bentley University this evening.
 
TEAM RECORDS: SCSU (6-4-1, 4-3-1 NE-10); BENTLEY (1-8-2, 1-6-1 NE-10)

FIRST HALF
Tambini scored the first points of the game off a rebound at 30:24 mark to give the Owls a 1-0 lead. Tambini would score his second goal of the game off an assist from sophomore Weens Simon (Fort Myers, Fla.) to take a 2-0 halftime lead.
 
SECOND HALF
Sophomore Alex Brown (Rocky Hill, Conn.) connected for his fourth goal on the year at the 47th minute to give the Owls a commanding 3-0 lead. Kevin Williams trimmed the deficit 3-1 for Bentley, with a goal off a rebound in the 60th minute.

NE-10 CONFERENCE RECORD
With this win, SCSU improves to 4-3-1 in conference play. 

AGGRESSIVE OFFENSE
The Owls outshot Bentley, 16-11.
