NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Southern Connecticut State University men's soccer team fell short to Merrimack College this afternoon, 4-0. 

TEAM RECORDS: SCSU (5-4-1,3-3-1 NE-10); Merrimack (9-2,6-1 NE-10)

FIRST HALF
Jaime Cortes Torres scored the first goal of the game for Merrimack in the eighth minute, off an assist from Mattia Lanzi.The Warriors would tack on two more goals in the first half to claim a 3-0 lead. 

SECOND HALF
Lars Sund would score his second goal of the game for Merrimack who would go on to defeat the Owls, 4-0.

ON DECK
The Owls are back in action Tuesday, Oct. 11 at 7 p.m. as they host Bentley University (Jess Dow Field).
