2016 Roster | 2016 Schedule | Season Stats

The Southern Connecticut State University men's soccer team will host two games this week beginning on Tuesday, Oct. 11 at 7 p.m. against Bentley University, followed by the College of Saint Rose on Saturday, Oct. 15 at 6 p.m. 

ALL-TIME VS. BENTLEY
The Owls hold a 22-4-2 all-time record vs. the Falcons. Both teams played twice last year where Bentley defeated the Owls in both meetings.

ALL-TIME VS. SAINT ROSE
SCSU is 14-0 all-time vs. Saint Rose. In last year's meeting, junior Sean Black (London, England) scored his second goal of the year in a 1-0 victory.

NE-10 CONFERENCE
The Owls are tied for fourth in shutouts (4), seventh in points (10) and ninth in goals scored (15). SCSU is currently in seventh place with 3-3-1 conference record.

LAST SEVEN GAMES
The Owls are 4-2-1 and have outscored their opponents 12-8.

SCSU was picked fifth in the NE-10 preseason coaches' poll.

IN THE NSCAA POLLS
The Owls were among those receiving votes in the first NSCAA national poll of 2016 and were ranked No. 7 regionally in the first weekly poll.

THE CAPTAINS
Head coach Tom Lang has named Christian Samaniego and Alex Soriano team captains for the 2016 season.

LOOKING BACK AT 2015
The Owls finished the 2015 season with a 9-7-1 record and qualified for the Northeast-10 Conference Tournament.

ON DECK
The Owls hit the road to take on No. 14 Adelphi University on Wednesday, Oct. 19 at 7 p.m. (Garden City, N.Y.).
