PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - Senior Michael Mallory (Waterbury, Conn.) scored a season-high 34 points in a 81-71 victory over the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia this afternoon.

Mallory scored 16 of his 34 points in the first half as the Owls carried a 33-32 halftime lead. Sophomores Isaiah McLeod (Cambridge, Mass.) and Joey Wallace (Rochester, N.Y.) added 22 second half points as the Owls went on to win its third game on the year. McLeod finished the game with 12 points and six rebounds. Wallace recorded 19 points, seven rebounds and five assists.

After his 34-point performance, Mallory moved into second place on the all-time scoring list. Mallory is now 29 points away from breaking the all-time scoring record held by Rich Radicioni (1936), who set the record in 1990. Mallory now has 1,908 career points.
