SCOUTING NEW HAVEN• The Chargers enter Wednesday's game with a road record of 5-7 as well as on a two game-winning streak.
• Senior Brianna Bradford leads the team and ranks second in the conference averaging 18.9 points per game.
• New Haven leads the conference in three categories such as: field goals made per game (24.4), field goal attempts per game (63.3) and total rebounds per game (41.7).
• In the month of February, the Chargers are shooting a season-low in all three shooting categories (36.0 % floor, 24.4 % three-point range and 63.2 % free-throw line).
• New Haven is also averaging 58.3 points, 46.7 rebounds and 3.0 blocks per game in the month of February.
ALL-TIME VS. NEW HAVENNew Haven leads the all-time series against Southern Connecticut, 42-23, following the earlier win over the Owls this season.
PREVIOUSLY AT NEW HAVENDespite being tied at halftime 31-31, the women's basketball team could not stop New Haven's second half run as the Owls fell 67-55 at Charger Gymnasium in a Northeast-10 Conference showdown.
Jackie Beathea recorded her fourth double-double of the season as she led the Owls with 15 points, 14 rebounds and a steal.
SCOUTING LE MOYNE• The Dolphins enters Saturday's game with a monthly mark of 2-1 while posting a road record of 6-4.
• Le Moyne ranks fourth in the league in offensive rebounds per game with 15.3 and steals per game with 8.2.
• Le Moyne also leads the conference in turnovers per game with 14.0.
• Vandall Andrade ranks fourth in the conference averaging 16.6 points and 8.6 rebounds per game.
• In the month of February, Le Moyne on the road is shooting 39.0 percent from the floor, 32.3 percent from three-point range and 65.9 percent from the charity stripe.

Amanda Pfohl, the women's basketball team opened 2016 with a 47-38 Northeast-10 Conference loss to Le Moyne College at Ted Grant Court.
WEEK 13 RECAPSouthern Connecticut went 1-1 during week 13 as the Owls fell to American International 59-52, but bounced back with a crucial 68-51 win at Saint Rose. Southern Connecticut finished the regular season with a 0-2 mark against AIC and a 2-0 sweep against the Golden Knights.

Nicole Grossbard recorded a career day as she registered her first career double-double and a career-high 13 assists in the Owls 68-51 win over Saint Rose. Grossbard is now tied in second in the SCSU Single-Game Assist mark along with Joan Van Ness (1977-78) and Liz Gleason (1976-1977).

Jackie Beathea recorded her 16th double-double of the season with 14 rebounds and 10 points. Beathea also tied her season-high in double-doubles for the second time in her career.
POWELL POSTS SEASON-HIGH IN BLOCKSIn the win against Saint Rose, senior
Danielle Powell tallied her season-high four blocks. Following the game, Powell remains second in the all-time blocking category with 111.

Jackie Beathea recorded another major achievement as an Owl as she recorded her 1,000th career rebound at Le Moyne. Following this accomplishment, she now leads SCSU in the all-time records books in rebounding.

LYNCH NOTEKate Lynch '08 begins her first full season as head coach for the Southern Connecticut State University women's basketball team. Lynch has compiled a 81-65 overall record as a head coach. Lynch remains the all-time leading scorer in Owls' history (1,779 points) and ranks fifth all-time in rebounds (650).
IN THE POLLSSouthern Connecticut was selected fourth in the Southwest Division according to the Northeast-10 Conference Preseason Coaches' Poll.

LOOKING BACK ON THE SEASON THAT WASThe Southern Connecticut State University women's basketball team closed the regular season with 14 wins and qualified for the Northeast-10 Conference Tournament. The Owls had one student-athlete recognized by the league with year-end honors.
BEATHEA NAMED ALL-NE-10For the third year in a row,
Jackie Beathea earned All-Conference honors after an impressive season as she led the Owls in scoring with 384 points and rebounds with 323. She also recorded 16 double-doubles.
AMONG THE NE-10 LEADERSAmongst the returners, the Owls had three players finish in the top five of Northeast-10 Conference participants in four categories.

Jackie Beathea finished No. 1 in rebounds per game, pulling down 11.1 per contest.
