NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Southern Connecticut State University women's basketball team extended its winning streak to three as a quartet of double-digit scores, including a double-double from senior Jackie Beathea (Annandale, Va.), helped lead the Owls past Le Moyne College, 68-57, on Saturday afternoon as part of Senior Day. Following the win, the Owls improve to 17-10 and 10-9 while the Dolphins fall to 13-12 and 10-9 in the Southwest Division.

It wasn't until a jumper from Weseleyj that sparked a 5-0 run to give the Owls a 7-2 lead with 4:46 remaining. The Owls continued their run into the second as a jumper from Powell extended the hosts' lead to seven, 16-9, at the 8:19 mark.
